The future journalist and writer was born on September 16, 1964 in a family of school teachers. Parents lived in the famous town of Red Beam, which is located in the Luhansk region. My father worked as a school principal. Mother taught literature. Gleb grew up a calm and judicious child. From an early age, he demonstrated versatile abilities. By the age of five, he independently learned letters and began to read books that he found in the house. Having received secondary education, he decided not to continue his studies at the institute, but waited for draft in the army.
Creative activity
Serve Bobrov fell in Afghanistan. In the educational part, he acquired the military specialty “sniper”. Participation in hostilities allowed the young fighter to see a fleeting life from different angles. He began to write down his impressions and thoughts in a regular notebook. Before demobilization, the Afghan government awarded sniper Bobrov the medal "For Courage". Returning to his homeland, Gleb for a short period adapted to a peaceful life. For some time he taught elementary military training at school. He worked as a graphic designer in the local palace of culture.
The first publications of Bobrov appeared in 1992 on the pages of a city newspaper. At the first stage, the basis of the work of the novice writer lay memories of military service. Short stories and short stories were published in the magazines "Rise" and "Star". When the political situation in Ukraine began to heat up, Gleb began to publish his topical materials on the pages of various newspapers. Already in 2002, the target audience recognized him as a political reporter. In 2008, the book "The Age of Stillborn" was published, which Bobrov wrote under the influence of what is happening in the country.
