The future actor, parodist Gennady Mikhailovich Dudnik was born in Moscow back in 1924. Real name and patronymic is Hirsch Moiseevich. Hirsch spent his childhood in Moscow, studying in a regular school. After graduating from high school, the young man entered the artillery school and successfully graduated from it. After graduating from college, Dudnik was taken to the front. He went through almost the entire war (1942-1945).
Studying and starting a career
Coming from the front, he immediately enters GITIS. After graduation, he gets a job at the Moscow Drama Theater of Oil Workers. Later, this theater became known as the comedy touring theater. In the theater, the acting career of Dudnik began. Here he played his first roles in the performances "Mad Money" and "The Scarlet Flower".

Gennady Mikhailovich began to parody even at the institute. But he began to try himself as a serious parodist when he joined the theater. A feature of Dudnik’s talent as a parodist was that he was able not only to imitate the voices and manner of the one whom he parodied, but could penetrate his essence, showing the inner world of the object. Gennady parodied the most famous people of that time - Utesov, Levitan, Papanov, Garin, Merkuryev, Yanshin, Filippov and many others.

In addition to theater and parodies, Dudnik had other works. In 1965, he starred in the film "Road to the Sea", where he played the role of entertainer. He dabbled in films a lot (“Fanfare of Love”, “Eve Wants to Sleep, ” “Quenching Thirst, ” and others). He voiced cartoons ("Sportlandia", "Walnut Twig", "Non-drinking Sparrow", "Merry-Go-Round", "Key" and others). Gennady Mikhailovich participated in the radio play "In the country of multi-remotes".
