On June 10 and 11, the festival was held at several venues at the Tushino airfield. The first concert day opened in not very good weather - it was pouring rain. But despite this, the musicians managed to warm up the hall. The festival began with the performance of the Russian group Biting Elbows. Then the members of the Therapy? Irish team came on stage, playing music in a wide variety of styles - from grunge to indie. After them, without lowering the bar, but changing the style and mood, Clawfinger appeared - a Swedish-Norwegian group, one of the most prominent and significant representatives of the rap-metal direction. Toward evening of the first day of Maksidroma appeared those for which many of the 50 thousand visitors came. The Rasmus played an almost one-hour set. Finally, at about 7 pm the headliners of the fifteenth Maxidrom - Linkin Park - entered the stage. They have already managed to attend several festivals since the beginning of summer and therefore were in great shape. The group performed for an hour and a half, that is, played a full-fledged concert. Of course, he was accompanied by pre-prepared actions from grateful fans.
On June 11, viewers received a new batch of famous names. The Everlast project, aka Eric Shrody, mixing rap and acoustic rock, opened the sunny day program. Oasis member Noel Gallagher came to Maxidrom, however, not within the framework of the legendary group, but with the relatively new Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds project. The organizers prepared a real bomb, The Cure, for the Maksidrom final. They performed for three hours, thus setting a record for the duration of the set in the history of the festival.
In addition to the main one, there were two additional scenes at Maxidrom. One of them hosted the Chestars national music contest, which was attended by young, not yet very well-known bands. In addition, there was a separate radio platform Maximum, on which DJs of the radio station held competitions, allowing the crowd of thousands to get distracted from the music for a while.
