The concept of "slavery" is understood as a system of relationships in society, in which a person is the property of another person or state. The ranks of slaves were replenished by criminals, captives and debtors until the middle of the twentieth century, in some countries of Africa until its end. Today, slavery is considered not only involuntary performance of work, but also the presence of supervisors in the workplace, the use of physical violence against an employee, and the impossibility of dismissal.
