Basic tetralogy about strangers
The first film (1979) was a unique phenomenon of its kind, since there were practically no such realistic shots about space and the monsters living there. The film takes place inside the spacecraft "Nostromo", which returns to Earth along the standard route when it suddenly intercepts a request for help. On the unremarkable planet LV-426, the crew of the ship finds an alien ship with a pilot, as well as a huge number of obscure objects that look like huge eggs. A further sequence of events leads to the fact that the ships are a bloodthirsty monster, destroying people. Lt. Helen Ripley, played by Sigourney Weaver, successfully confronts him. The budget of the film was eleven million dollars, and theatrical fees exceeded one hundred million. In fact, after the release of this film, Sigourney Weaver became a star of the first magnitude.
If for “Alien” Weaver received only thirty thousand dollars, then her fee for “Aliens” amounted to a million dollars.
The film Aliens was shot in 1986 by David Cameron (author of Terminator). 57 years after the events of the original film, the capsule with Helen Ripley arrives on Earth, where he finds out that the planet LV-426 has long been colonized, only the connection with the colony has somehow been interrupted. Helen Ripley and a detachment of brave marines are sent to the desired planet, where instead of a colony of people there is a huge "anthill" of aliens. Only one girl survived. In the course of further events, Helen Ripley defeats the awesome Queen of Aliens and leaves the planet.
The first film, without a doubt, was a thriller, the second became one of the best fighters in the world.
In "Alien 3", filmed by David Fincher (Fight Club), it turns out that before her death, the Alien Queen managed to put off the larva of the facial gripper that infects Ripley while she is in suspended animation. Due to the failure of the ship’s systems, it crashes on a planet-prison, which contains dozens of especially dangerous prisoners. Surviving the person in time manages to infect the dog, which gives life to a new look of strangers. The resulting monster destroys almost all prisoners. Further events lead to the fact that Ripley commits suicide.
"Alien: Resurrection" - the last direct sequel to the original plot, which was shot by Jean Pierre Genet ("Amelie"). In it, the terrestrial military is engaged in cloning cells of an infected Helen Ripley from blood samples found on a prison planet from the last part. They do this to get strangers and use them as especially dangerous weapons. Along the way, they clone Ripley herself. The warship, where all the action takes place, is harassed by smugglers, supplying people whom military scientists are going to infect with strangers. Unfortunately, viable alien individuals break free and kill almost the entire crew of the ship.
