Emilio Estevez - a popular American actor, screenwriter and director, who became famous for his paintings "Bobby" and "War in the house."
Before career
Emilio Estevez was born May 12, 1962 in New York, in Staten Island County in a creative family. Estevez's father, Martin Sheen, was an actor, and Janet Templeton's mother was an artist. Together with Emilio, the sister Rene Estevez grew up in the family, as well as the brothers Ramon Estevez and Charlie Sheen.
When it was time to go to school, Emilio was assigned to an ordinary public school. Estevez did not study there for long - his father’s career was growing rapidly, and after a while he had the opportunity to study at the prestigious private academy, which Emilio uses.
Taking pictures of the camera with the future actor manifested itself at an early age. Already at the age of 11, parents acquire a video camera for him. Together with his brother Charlie and school friends, Emilio makes small films for which he himself invented scripts. Moreover, he had little experience in his hobby, unusual for a child, since around the same period he took part in the filming of a short film called "Meet Mr. Bomb."
In 1980, Emilio graduated from school and refused to go to college in favor of the desire to become an actor. He did not take his father’s surname in principle, because he wanted to be perceived as a serious actor, and not as the son of a famous artist.
Career Actor and Director
In the first year after leaving school, Emilio managed to sign a contract with the acting group "Brat Pack", and in 1982, to star in the movie "Tex".
Good luck smiled at him after the first project. Career began to grow rapidly. In 1983, Estevez starred in the films "Outcast" and "Nightmares". In 1985, he took part in the films "Club" Breakfast "" and "Lights of St. Elmo", in which he received the main roles. The actor received another major role in the same year in the film "It was then … This is now", after which Emilio wants to try himself as a director.
A good start to directing was the tape "Bobby", released in 2006. Emilio also took part in directing in the films "The Way" and "The Public Library".
Emilio was lucky to work in a sound studio. Estevez voiced animated characters in the cartoons "City of Sorcerers" (2003), "Arthur and Minibuses" (2006) and "Letter to Dracula" (2012).
