Currently, there are various manifestations of racism in the world. The first of these is a negative attitude towards racial minorities living in one territory or another. Such minorities are most often representatives of the Negroid and Jewish races. Caucasians have long belittled the dignity of blacks, who have long been considered slaves, and against the Jews committed multiple genocide, which reached its peak during the Second World War.

For Russia and some other European countries, a manifestation of racism in relation to representatives of the Caucasus, Armenoid, Mongoloid and other races, which are gradually settled in different territories, is characteristic. The causes of racial hatred are differences in appearance, lifestyle, religious and other views of people. The so-called territorial racism reaches its peak in those territories where national minorities begin to exert a noticeable influence on the lifestyle and thinking of the indigenous population, where there is an interweaving of cultures.

In modern society, the concept of sports racism has emerged, which manifests itself during major sports competitions between different countries. This problem is especially acute in the world of football: football fans often often show strong aggression towards members of the opposing team, and if representatives of other races are members of it, this can lead to serious skirmishes both with the fans of the other team and with its players during the time of football matches and after them. That is why the FIFA International Football Federation annually fights against racism, arranging special events and flash mobs to establish friendship between representatives of different countries and cultures. The same methods are used by the International Olympic Committee and other sports organizations.

Various forms of the fight against racism by civil society are widespread in Russia. There are various human rights organizations that monitor the situation in this area, conduct research and put forward legal initiatives. For example, there is the Moscow Bureau of Human Rights, which publishes a regular report on this topic, and the organization “I do not want to hate!” Fights against racism in St. Petersburg. Annually, both in Russia and around the world, rallies and other mass events are held against the problem of racism.
