In German Potsdam, on December 8, 1962, the future national star of theater and cinema was born. Such an unusual birthplace of the future actress is due to the fact that her father, being a military man, served in the GDR as part of a group of Soviet troops deployed there. From childhood, which took place in the Altai Territory, and then in the suburbs, Lena showed a desire to become an actress.
The girl actively developed in this direction, when she attended music, dance and art schools along with the general education. In addition, during the training, Valyushkina showed an unusual desire to learn foreign languages, which was the result of her free communication in English, Spanish and French.
From 1979 to 1984, Elena Valyushkina received a theater education in the course of V. Korshunov and V. Sulimov at the Shchepkinsky school. And after graduation, she entered the troupe of the Mossovet Theater, where she continues to go on stage until now. During her theatrical career, which the actress puts above the work in the cinema, she played in more than thirty productions, "just not getting out of the scene." Among her most successful theatrical works, one can confidently single out the Brothers Karamazov, Do Not Wake Madame, Freken Julie, and the School of Slander.
In cinema, Elena Valyushkina made her debut in 1982 with the film "I Do Not Want to Be an Adult."
