First steps
In 1977, Elena Chernikova received a certificate of maturity and passed a creative competition upon admission to the Moscow Literary Institute. For five years, she carefully studied the basics of writing. At the same time as the learning process, she wrote poems, essays and other texts that she published in periodicals. As a student, Elena regularly looked into the literary editorial office of the All-Union Radio, where she could record her poems on tape so that later she could hear them on the air.
Having completed her studies at the Literary Institute, Chernikova worked for more than a year on the radio. The programs edited by her were of interest to the audience. Tales of historical events were accompanied by musical sketches composed by young composers. In programs on poetry, Elena tried to discover the names of forgotten poets for the target audience and introduce aspiring poets. Layout of the program, which discussed the problems of modern youth.
In 1983, Chernikov was invited to the editorial office of the newspaper Moscow Literator. It was here that for ten years she grew up and took place as a professional author and critic. Regular work on materials for the next issue formed the journalist's own style. Any text is addressed to a specific readership. Fantastic sketches for teens will never be read by a person who has crossed the forty-year mark. Elena saw that even mature journalists did not observe this rule.
Professional career
Possessing a tenacious memory, observation and analytical abilities, Chernikova clearly saw free niches in the market of special knowledge. The explosive development of electronic technology has significantly changed the environment in the information field. According to some experts, there are more journalists than news. Plus, the qualifications of the “writing fraternity” have noticeably decreased. Elena Vyacheslavovna, as a person who has already developed his own taste and sense of proportion, to observe such processes has become simply unbearable.
To correct the situation, she wrote a textbook, "Fundamentals of the journalist’s creative activity." Of course, one useful book to change the situation in principle, it is impossible. But Chernikova did not set herself such a task. As a person who is systematically suitable for every problem, she saw that the correction process will be lengthy. For more than eight years, she taught at the Modern Humanitarian Academy, giving students a lecture on the basics of journalism.
In recent years, Elena Vyacheslavovna Chernikova has been teaching at the Moscow Institute of Television and Radio Broadcasting. The intellectual community and government structures appreciated its contribution to the development of the cultural space. In 2006, her breasts adorned the medal "For Contribution to Russian Culture". Two years later, Chernikova became the owner of the medal "For Valiant Labor" and the order "For the Height of Creative Accomplishments."
