James Craig is an American movie actor. It gained popularity in the 40s and 50s of the 20th century. Among the most famous films with Craig’s participation are Seven Sinners and While the City Sleeps.

Biography
James Craig was born on February 4, 1912 in Nashville, USA. He died on June 28, 1985 in Santa Ana, California. Craig grew up in a large family of a builder. His parents often moved. James was educated at Clarksville College in Tennessee. He then enrolled at Rice University in Houston. Craig wanted to be a doctor.
Upon receipt of the diploma, James changed his plans and began working in the oil industry in Huntsville, Texas. He later got a job at General Motors in Houston. Craig went to Hollywood and got the idea to become an actor. He found an agent, improved his speech and began a drama course at Cyril Delavanti.
Personal life
Craig had three wives and three children. Beautiful, slender Craig, shone on the screen, in family life behaved less visually. He was repeatedly accused of alcoholism and domestic violence. He entered into his first marriage in 1939. His wife was actress Mary June Ray. A happy newlywed has abandoned a film career for the sake of a family home. She gave birth to three children, but the average child died in infancy due to kidney failure. In 1954, Mary was about to divorce, but once again forgave her husband. In 1956, she bore him another son, and in 1959 she filed for divorce.
