Remember the big boy from the Harry Potter epic? He was played by Jamie Walett, whose acting career ended in the most unexpected way: he repeatedly came into the view of the police for antisocial behavior, and as a result, he got a real term.
Biography
Jamie Walett was born in London in 1989. He grew up a sickly boy, and his parents constantly drove him to doctors. But the problems did not end there: at the age of nine, Jamie had a car accident and was badly injured. His skull was broken and his brain hurt, and the hope for the survival of the child was scanty.
However, thanks to the efforts of his parents, he got out and soon got better. Wise parents insisted on a blood transfusion - this saved the life of their son.
Actor's career
Probably, fate prepared him for the role of Vincent Crabbe, because the director of “Harry Potter”, seeing Walett, immediately decided that he would take the boy to his project - because his texture and character were visible to the naked eye.
The truth is, at first Jamie was scheduled for a completely different role, but later the director saw him as Vincent.
And in 2001, the shooting of the large-scale Harry Potter project, the first part, began. First, Jamie passed the test, and then approved for the role that made him famous.
It was a fun and happy time: all the actors were children, they were very interested in acting and being on the same set with famous actors, it was interesting to transform into their heroes. It was a time of inspiration and creativity.
And, despite the fact that Waylett was constantly in the shadow of the main characters, he made a very big contribution to the entertainment and emotionality of the plot.
Jamie Waylett became famous for his role, he was at the pinnacle of fame and it seemed that now he can make an acting career - after all, his Vincent turned out exactly the way the director intended him. And many guys of his age would like to be in his place.
For several years, Jamie starred in "Harry Potter". His hero and the heroes of his filming colleagues grew up and matured with them, and everything was fine.
However, when the shooting was over, Waylett’s life seemed to have a void, and he did not know how to fill it.
