Shurov Dmitry Igorevich - Ukrainian musician, pianist, composer, founder of the Pianoboy group, a former member of the Ocean Elzy group (2001 - 2004), a member of the Esthetic Education group (since 2004). In 2006-2009 he was a pianist in the Zemfira group.

Biography
Dmitry Shurov was born on October 31, 1981 in Vinnitsa, Ukrainian SSR. Dima’s childhood passed in an atmosphere thoroughly saturated with creativity, since his mother was a teacher, played the piano, and his father was a poet and artist. At the age of four, the future artist already knew what scales were and learned to play the piano. After 4 classes of music school, Dmitry graduated from the conductor and choral department of the Vinnitsa Music College.
Dmitry Shurov spent a lot of time abroad. He was educated in France. It was knowledge of French and English that helped Dmitry to qualify for a three-month course at the Lyceum named after Auguste Renoir in French Limoges. Then, the future Flex exchange artist, studied for a year in Utah (USA). In America, Dmitry played in a jazz orchestra, in the Barbershop quartet, and sang in an octet and choir. While studying in the theater class of the college, he was a fan of American musicals of the 1950s and 60s.
At 18, Dmitry Shurov returned from America to Ukraine. He entered the Kiev Linguistic Institute.
Career
In 2000, Dmitry was offered to join a session keyboard player in the Ocean Elzy group. His debut concert as a member of the group was played in Odessa on April 1, 2000. April 20, 2001 Dmitry Shurov was admitted to the group on an ongoing basis. He has performed at concerts of three tours in Ukraine and the CIS countries (Vimagai Bolshogo, 2001, Supersimetria Tour, 2003, Pacific Ocean, 2004, Krashі pisnі for 10 rokіv, 2004), took part in the development of two studio albums.
Acquaintance with the English director and musician Louis Frank, who shot the clip "Friend", opened for Dima new horizons of creativity. New musical ideas led to the joint work of Dmitry and Yuri Khustochka with Louis Frank. In parallel with work in the "Ocean", the guys create a group of Esthetic Education. In 2004, Dmitry Shurov left the legendary group. He explained his departure from the group as a kind of inner freedom, which prompted him to create a single creative team.
After leaving Ocean Elzy, he began performing in the Esthetic Education team, in which he released albums, the single: Face Reading (2004), Leave Us Alone (2005), Live At Ring (2006), Werewolf "(2007).
In autumn, in 2006, cooperation with Zemfira began. In the process of this collaboration, on October 1, 2007, the fifth studio album, Thank You, was released. Dmitry Shurov became his co-producer. Also, Dmitry as a pianist played a large concert tour in support of the album - almost 100 performances, one of which is a concert, which later appeared on DVD. Its director was Renata Litvinova. The concert took place in Moscow at the Green Theater and was called the Green Theater in Zemfira.
Creation
In early 2009, Dmitry began working on the opera Leo and Leia, part of which was performed in Paris at a fashion show of St. Petersburg designer Alyona Akhmadullina. In the process, Shurov was inspired by the creation of a solo project. In the work on the project, called "PIANOBOY, " Dmitry was helped by her sister Olga Shurova, a graduate of Kiev Linguistic University.
His first performance under the pseudonym PIANOBOYA was held as part of the second Moloko Music Fest in September 2009. The following events at which PIANOBOY sang were the fashion show of Lilia Litkovskaya, the week of British cinema and the celebration of the birthday of the women's magazine Harpers Bazar.
In November 2009, the premiere of the first song, "Sense. No", took place on radio and television, and on December 29, 2009, Pianoboy played his first full-length recital in Kiev.
In January 2010, Dmitry began recording his debut album, and at the end of February began a club tour in Ukraine.
December 13, 2011, together with Svyatoslav Vakarchuk, Sergey Babkin, Max Malyshev and Peter Chernyavsky presented the album "Brussels", which became a joint project of musicians.
In May 2012, PIANOBOY's debut album, Simple Things, was released.
In September 2013, the album "Do not stop dreaming." And in April of the same year, Dmitry won the ELLE Style Awards.
On December 14, 2013, Dmitry Shurov performed as part of the Ocean Elzy band during the Euromaidan, and at the anniversary concert of the musical group at the Olimpiysky on June 21, 2014.
In the spring of 2014, the Sovremennik Theater in Moscow staged the performance "Cinderella" based on the work of E. Schwartz. The composer of the production was Dmitry.
On May 20, 2015, a memorable evening of Andrei Kuzmenko was held at the Sports Palace. At this concert, Dmitry together with the musicians of the project "Skryabin" performed the song "Champagne eyes."
In 2015, two studio albums of PIANOBOY were released: "Take Off" and "Cohannya".
In 2017, Dmitry Shurov became a member of the updated jury of the X-Factor show.
Dmitry composes music not only for his PIANOBOY project, but also for films and TV shows (Mysterious Island, Orange Love, Servant of the People, Hotel Galicia, etc.)
