For an athlete, the most valuable award is the medal won at the Olympics. Anastasia Davydova is a five-time Olympic champion in synchronized swimming. It is impossible to achieve such achievements by chance.
Starting conditions
Each sport has specific rules and restrictions. At all times, the coach faced and faces the task of determining the prospects of his pupil. At the same time, it is not necessary to take into account the requests of a person who wants to be involved. Anastasia Semenovna Davydova began to practice in the section of rhythmic gymnastics. More precisely, the girl was brought to the gym by her mother, who, like all adequate parents, took care of the future of her child. After several classes, I realized that Nastya should be transferred to the synchronized swimming section.
The future Olympic champion was born on February 2, 1983 in an ordinary Soviet family. Parents lived in Moscow. My father worked as an engineer at a machine-building enterprise. Mother taught math at the university. Anastasia began studying in the synchronized swimming section at the age of six. She studied well at school. In all subjects I managed. Swimming classes did not interfere with learning. By the age of sixteen Davydova, she already had the experience of speaking at city competitions. It was at this age that she was included in the national team, which was preparing for performances at the 2004 Olympics.
Achievements and rewards
Davydova received her first experience in international competitions at the European Championships in 2000, held in Helsinki. In the group program, she received a gold medal. The following season, Anastasia has already received two medals at the World Championships in the Japanese city of Fukuoka - gold in group performances and silver in a duet. The most difficult thing in synchronized swimming is to work out the coordination of movements. Movements are performed with musical accompaniment. Each member of the team develops a sense of rhythm and a sense of "elbow".
To a certain extent, synchronized swimming involves creativity and accurate calculation. Davydova’s sports career was successful. For many years she performed in a duet with Anastasia Ermakova. At the 2004 Olympics in Athens, Russian swimmers confidently occupied the highest steps of the podium in doubles and group performances. In sports, it is important not only to win the championship title, but also to keep it in the next competitions. At the next Olympics in Beijing, the famous duo repeated their results.
