Dignity is the word used to denote self-esteem, as well as respect for people from those around them. In other words, dignity is the value of human life.
And the concept of a decent standard of living means how well a person lives.

A decent standard of living is the satisfaction of different human needs
Firstly, people want to eat, drink and live normally in a beautiful and comfortable house or apartment.
Secondly, a person feels the need for love, self-development, knowledge, recognition of merit from society. He wants to have a family, raise children, take them to good kindergartens, give them a quality education.
Satisfying all these needs means that a person has a decent standard of living.
What makes up the price for a decent lifestyle
The cost of living in each country is based on costs associated with national costs, as well as with the average needs of each person.
The colder the climate in the country, the more money you have to spend on heating homes, raising livestock, growing vegetables and fruits. Because of this, the cost of utilities and food is higher than in a country with a milder and warmer climate.
The level of state income also affects the quality of human life. For example, the more the state sells oil, gas, and other products to other countries, the more it can spend money on salaries, social programs, and subsidies. Of course, if at the same time it reasonably spends budget funds, and does not plunder them.
The material level of the population is growing, and people are starting to spend more money on both basic needs and entertainment. And the more they are willing to pay for a decent standard of living, the higher the quality of housing, goods and services. In this case, the manufacturer increases the cost of their production, and therefore raises selling prices.
