The concept of "creativity" has several aspects, and therefore is included in the sphere of interests of many scientific disciplines that study society and culture. Creativity is most often understood as an individual or collective activity, the subject of which is the creation of new art forms. The creativity palette is unusually wide; it reflects not only the features of the cultural life of society, but also technological innovations.
2
To understand the social nature of creativity, it is necessary to look deep into history. The formation of creative activity was greatly influenced by a change in the living conditions of the population and the formation of cities. The townspeople who broke with rural labor turned to handicraft, which gave unique cultural masterpieces. Very often, the products of medieval masters, which found application in everyday life, were distinguished by their sophistication of forms and rich decorative design.

The social nature of creativity is clearly manifested in the carnival culture of the Renaissance. Mass holidays, festivities, amusements of ordinary people became part of the national culture and gave rise to various forms of folk art that have passed through the centuries. Street creativity of the masses grew into national holidays, it also contributed to the development of theatrical art, the social significance of which is difficult to overestimate.

In its most developed social form, creativity appears in the form of folklore. This term appeared in the middle of the XIX century and began to mean not only folk poetry and literature, but also folk traditions in the most general sense. Different types of folklore, including complexes of artifacts of culture, have become the object of study in the framework of sociology and ethnography.

Sociological scientists study in detail and subjectively the economic, ideological and social conditions for the emergence and development of creativity, its information and technical equipment. One of the areas of sociological research is the study of intercultural interaction of types of creative activity, which is considered as one of the leading factors in the development of ethnocultural traditions.
