Instruction manual
1
Present-day China is, first of all, an industrial-agrarian country, in which the features of traditional economy and modern economy are quite intricately intertwined. At present, China is actively developing petrochemicals, electronics, the nuclear and space industries.
2
Most recently, most people in China have not seen hot water and showers, and now these people are actively using computers. In this country, at every step you can see the neighborhood of the backward and progressive, new and old.
3
The economic potential of modern China is truly enormous. According to the production of important types of industrial and agricultural products, the generated national income, it is already included in the first ten countries of the world. At the same time, the growth rates of both agricultural and industrial products in China are extremely high and in the last decade are among the highest in the world.
4
In just two decades of active reforms, the country's GDP has increased almost six times, in fact, this means a six-fold increase in the country's economic potential. China continues to grow in wealth and overall economic recovery. Capital construction is actively underway in the cities, the government is investing in the development of all industries. In accordance with government plans, by 2050, China will reach a level of development that can be compared with the industrialized countries of Europe.
5
At present, several dozen nationalities live in China, of which fifty-six are officially recognized. Each nationality has its own customs, costumes, and often with its own language. Moreover, all these nationalities comprise less than seven percent of the population of the whole country. The remaining ninety-three percent of the Chinese population identify with the Han people. Active modernization of society, interethnic marriages lead to the disappearance of differences between ethnic groups.
6
Despite the significant changes that are taking place in society, the Communist Party still enjoys the support of the masses. As long as the economy continues to grow, the Chinese population is unlikely to deprive the support of their leaders. The Chinese are characterized by a desire for order and stability, so the current political system (which is gradually changing, giving the country's population more freedom) is unlikely to face serious upheavals in the coming years.
