Jesus Christ often spoke in parables to explain basic doctrinal and moral truths. It was in images that were clear to the consciousness of man that Jesus tried to convey to people important aspects of the relationship between man and God, as well as important features of relations between one another.

The Evangelist Matthew talks about the parable of Christ about the tares in his gospel. So, it is described as follows. One man sowed good seed in his field and went to bed. When night fell and everyone was asleep, the enemy of a man sowed his tares on the field (tares - weeds). Over time, both seeds began to grow on the field. Housekeeping servants asked why the landlord would not pick up weed. However, the good gentleman replied that weeds must be left to the common harvest in order not to harm the wheat. The time will come when the wheat will be collected in the granary, and the tares will be cut and thrown into the fire.
Under the good seed can be considered the Church of the earth, founded by God, as well as all people who are God's creation (good seed and wheat). However, the time came when the devil tempted man, and sin entered the life of the latter. Evil people began to appear, criminals who turned away from God (evil seed and tares). The question of why the owner does not destroy the tares can immediately be compared with the question of God about the eradication of evil on earth and the destruction of sinners. However, earthly life is only part of the being of a human person. In the full sense of the word, only after the Senior Court will a reward and punishment be determined for the righteous and sinners. The righteous will be rewarded with paradise (wheat will be gathered in the granary), and sinners will go to hell (the tares will be burned in flames).
In addition, the parable may also mean that along with the teachings of Christ, many other false doctrines are sown in the world. Each person makes his choice in one way or another. Everything will be finally resolved, according to the teachings of the Church, on the Day of the Last Judgment, when the truth and falsity of certain religious teachings become clear.
