Biography
Eva Polna was born in 1975 in St. Petersburg. Her parents were well-off, and the girl studied at school with a philological bias, learning foreign languages. From childhood, she was interested in singing and dancing and especially admired the works of Anna Pavlova and Ella Fitzgerald. In the early 90s, Polna was enrolled in the Academy of Culture and Arts, having received the education of a librarian. Later, she also studied at the College of Art.
In 1994, Polna began performing as a vocalist in the youth group "A-2." After some time, she sang already solo in various St. Petersburg clubs, performing in a variety of genres. In 1996, the singer met with producer and musician Yuri Usachev, who invited her to become a vocalist in the joint project "Guests from the Future". Eve began to not only sing, but also wrote lyrics for songs, and also engaged in staging shows and sewing stage costumes.
Very quickly, the duo released the album "After hundreds of years" in a little-known jungle style in Russia. As a result, it was decided to change direction to pop, and the group presented to the public their first hits, which are still well known: “Run from me”, “Kiss in French”, “He is a stranger” and many others. Thus was born a new album, called "Winter in the Heart." In 2003, when the group celebrated its fifth anniversary, the third and last disc of the group called "Behind the Star" was released.
The band "Guests from the Future" continued to perform with concerts until 2009. Later, Eve began a solo career, and already the first songs on her behalf brought her a new round of popularity. Among them: “Mirages”, “Without parting”, “Ships”, “I also do not have you” and others. More recently, in 2017, the release of the next album "Phoenix", which included 13 completely new tracks, took place.
