Avraam Russo was born in 1969 on July 21 in Syria. His father Jean was a World War II veteran. Unfortunately, he died when the boy was barely seven years old. Abraham's mother was left with two children in her arms. They had to move to Lebanon. Mother, like the late father of the boy, were believers. Therefore, Abraham went to study at the monastery. From this period begins his love of singing.

While in the monastery, Abraham began to sing in the choir. His talent was immediately noticeable to others. Many parishioners enjoyed listening to him. To make money, Abraham began performing in a restaurant in Cyprus. The owner of the institution noticed a talented guy and invited him to sign a contract in Russia. Since that time, his songs began to be broadcast on the radio station, and discs flew in large numbers.
The year 2001 is marked by the Russo duet with Cristina Orbakaite. They recorded a joint song, which became an all-time hit. In the same year, the world saw his composition "Amor". The song has long been held in the top ten leaders of the charts. Separate musical works were completely written by the performer.
Later, Abraham Russo signed a contract with Joseph Prigogine. In the future, their relationship deteriorated, after the incident with an attempt on the life of the singer. When he returned home, at the very entrance of his car was shot. The man was hospitalized in serious condition. After this incident, he could become an invalid, but nothing happened. Over the years, the relationship between Prigozhin and Russo improved, but ceased to be friendly.
Especially popular were the artist’s compositions - “I Know, ” “Engagement, ” and “Far, Far.” The number of discs sold by Abraham Russo reached 10 million copies. 2006 can be considered the peak of his musical career. After serving in America, his popularity began to decline. Further return to Russia did not bring former glory, but he did not despair and continued to do what he liked.
