Biography
Aslan Sananovich Huseynov was born on September 22, 1975 in the Caucasus, in the city of Makhachkala. The boy spent his childhood on the shore of the Caspian Sea. Aslan's parents are from Derbent, a city in southern Dagestan, and his grandfather has Iranian roots. Mother worked as a teacher of mathematics at school, so the boy from his youth made progress in the technical sciences.
While still a schoolboy, he became interested in music. Aslan often attended concerts and other creative events with his family. Parents took him to a music school in his native city, where he learned to play folk Caucasian instruments, including the container, an Azerbaijani string instrument. Aslan was lucky - the famous musician Zafar Kuliev became his teacher. The young man participated in packaging competitions, where he always won prizes, went to Russian folk music festivals.
Immediately after that, he entered the music school at the vocal department. He was engaged in dancing for a year, but could not reach his creative potential through choreography. The young man tried to get comprehensive development: he tried himself in both martial arts and swimming.
In 1993 he entered the Dagestan State University at the Faculty of Economics. As a student, he took part in various vocal competitions, performed at city concerts and festivals. At the same time, he began to write his own songs. The young man graduated from the University with honors, wrote and defended his thesis and received the title of candidate of economic sciences. However, Aslan did not work by profession - instead, he decided to devote his life to art.
Member of the Dagestan KVN
In 1997, the TV show "Club of the Fun and Inventive" (KVN) became very popular. Aslan joined the university team "Makhachkala Tramps", which was founded in 1996 by classmates Andrei Galanov and Shaban Muslimov.
They created a new style of KVN with traditional Caucasian dances and songs. When the “Tramps" broke up, some of the participants united in the Kins gang - among them was Aslan Huseynov. In the group, he was a soloist, and also wrote lyrics and music. In 2002, the group broke up.
Creativity of Aslan Huseynov
At the same time, Huseynov began to write songs for other Dagestan performers. Soon his name gained considerable popularity - Huseynov began to order texts from such pop stars as Dima Bilan and Irakli.
The most notable works:
- "Favorite" for singer Jasmine;
- "Run" for Nastya Zadorozhnaya;
- "Take a step" for the artist Irakli;
- "Become for me" for Dima Bilan;
- Soundtrack to the film "Love in the Big City 2".
Aslan Huseynov writes songs not only in Russian, but also in Azerbaijani, which he is fluent in - the artist’s relatives on the mother’s side are from Baku. He often visits the capital of Azerbaijan - visits relatives and gives concerts. In addition, he recorded several duets in Baku musicians.
In the discography of the musician there are a couple of songs in other foreign languages: English, Farsi and Turkish.
Solo career
In 2007, the singer was invited to the television show "STS lights a superstar." To do this, he had to move to Moscow. This project brought fame to the artist. Immediately after finishing work on the program, Aslan Huseynov started a solo project.
The first song, written and performed personally by Aslan, is "Where are you." She quickly took the first lines in the charts of the radio stations Russian Radio and DFM. Major music channels began broadcasting the video for the song throughout the country and even beyond its borders - in Germany and Azerbaijan. Huseynov also released the English version of the hit. This opened the way for the song to foreign radio stations.
Huseynov was nominated for the Golden Gramophone Award with this composition.
Aslan’s next work - the song "Let's start all over again" - also hit DFM radio. In 2011, two hits of Aslan were released at once: "My God" and "I know, I know." Now the singer works at corporate parties, anniversaries and weddings in Moscow. Every year, the artist goes on a tour to the Baltic countries and neighboring countries. Next year he plans to hold a creative evening and invite Dagestan and Russian artists who will perform songs written by Huseynov.
An artist rarely performs under a phonogram, but his use is positive. In an interview for “Aksakal” magazine, he justifies such a performance: the audience, according to Huseynov, evaluate primarily the song, not the vocals, and it is difficult to set up high-quality sound at concert venues in Russia.
The singer often takes part in charity events and organizes his own. One of Aslan’s last concerts was dedicated to helping sick children - half of the proceeds from the sale of tickets were sent to a charity fund.
Among the new works of Aslan Huseynov, such popular compositions as "I Will Not Forget You" and "Let's Start All Over again."
