short biography
Artemy Troitsky called the first agitator "for rock music." The famous expert and music critic was born July 16, 1955 in an intelligent family. Parents were engaged in political science and lived in Yaroslavl. A few years later, his father was transferred to work in the editorial office of the journal "Problems of Peace and Socialism", which was located in the capital of Czechoslovakia, Prague. Thanks to this, Artemy’s childhood passed on the land of the Czech state. When the child approached age to go to school, the family returned to their native land.
At school, the boy did well. Early began to show interest in music. He was interested, as far as possible, with jazz and other fashion trends that were born in the West. His father brought him discs from foreign business trips, and Artemy was one of the first in Moscow to find out about new products. In 1972, Troitsky received his secondary education. After some thought, he entered the Institute of Economics and Statistics. Already in his student years, he knew well how the musical party of the capital lives.
Teacher and expert
In 1977, Trinity received a diploma and got a job at the Institute of Art History. For two years he worked on a dissertation on the influence of popular music processes in society. Things didn’t reach the defense, and I had to say goodbye to the scientist’s career. For some time he played the guitar in the band "Sounds of Mu". In the second half of the 80s, he began to organize solo performances and national concerts of domestic rock groups. By that time, such groups as “Kino”, the famous “Time Machine”, and “Center” already “worked”.
Troitsky's biography could have turned out differently, but at the beginning of the 90s the borders opened. Performers from different countries began to come to Russia. Artemy Troitsky is again enthusiastically engaged in musical criticism. For a long period of time he broadcast the "Oblomov Cafe" program. He, as a famous expert, is regularly invited to the jury of international competitions. Not only musicians, but also other participants in show business, writers and politicians reckon with the opinion of Troitsky.
