Special Forces soldiers - people who have the honor to serve the Fatherland, are the elite of the army. History
In the 30s of the last century, the first airborne units appeared in the USSR, which shocked foreign experts with their preparation and the complexity of the maneuvers being performed. In response, the United States began to organize their troops.
The revival of the airborne units began twenty years later. The historical moment is the appearance of an airborne combat vehicle. Such a technique landed from the air. In 1986. our country succeeded in invading Czechoslovakia, since the fulfillment of all tasks was entrusted to such units. At this time, the blue beret appeared, which to this day is an invariable attribute of the airborne forces.
Goals and objectives of the special forces
Special forces solve the main task - to quickly and silently eliminate the enemy. For this, the most important points of the enemy are affected. This reduces the risk of resistance, allows you to get a quick result.
The special forces of the "Main Intelligence Directorate of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation" is considered the most popular unit. Only the best candidates who have passed rigorous selection fall into it. Regular training in its stress and complexity can cause shock in any layman.
Actual operations in which such units took part cannot usually be read from the media. During operations on them, you can notice any uniform. Necessarily on clothes there is an emblem with the image of the globe. It means that fighters can act anywhere in our planet.
The main tasks of the army special forces:
- organization and conduct of intelligence activities;
- destruction of nuclear attack facilities;
- identification of military units;
- operations behind enemy lines;
- search and neutralization of saboteurs.
If necessary, to solve the tasks, they can create radio interference, disrupt energy supply and eliminate transport hubs. Previously, they were engaged in the elimination of political and public figures of enemy states. Over time, such tasks were canceled (or classified).
Admission to the ranks of the army special forces and training
Applicants must be in perfect health. You can not differ in impressive dimensions, but you must be hardy. Scouts during the raid can travel tens of kilometers, carrying a kilogram of weapons, ammunition and ammunition.
Upon admission, you must pass an exam. To do this, you need:
- run a distance of 3 km in 10 minutes, 100 meters in 12 seconds;
- pull up at least 25 times;
- 90 times squeeze from the floor;
- do 90 abs exercises in 2 minutes.
A thorough medical examination of the candidates is mandatory. Attention is paid to psychological factors. Fighters must be stress-resistant, resilient and able to make the right decisions in any environment. If this step is passed, a polygraph test is performed. Special forces are trained by experienced instructors. It includes:

- psychological work.

Divisions
There are several main divisions, each facing its own tasks.
Marines
It does not differ in large numbers, but without it some manipulations are impossible. The roots of the Marine Corps date back to the reign of Peter I, who established the first regiment in 1705. The selection of candidates is more stringent than that of the airborne troops. The commandos wear black berets.
Airborne
An independent branch of the armed forces designed to cover the enemy in the air. The main delivery method is parachute landing or landing. Units can also be delivered by helicopter. They are the reserve of the Supreme High Command.
Management A, Alpha Group
The main goal is to conduct urban anti-terrorist operations under the control of the political leadership of Russia. It is part of the “Special Purpose Center of the FSB of the Russian Federation” and includes a headquarters, five departments, and regional divisions. One department is constantly located in Chechnya.
Office "B", the group "Pennant"
Created in 1981, it was the most famous power unit of foreign intelligence of the KGB of the USSR. Today, most of the composition is represented by people from counterintelligence. Each has its own specialization. It takes at least five years to prepare one specialist. Previously, the group was engaged in penetrating enemy territory, defended Soviet embassies, and was active in espionage. There is no information on current activities in open sources.
