Aram Apetovich Asatryan is a famous Armenian singer, author of songs and poems. He is a very talented person, in his short life he wrote more than 500 songs, some of them he dedicated to his beloved Armenia. All his life he was devoted to his homeland and never aspired to life beyond its borders.

Aram Apetovich, despite his unlimited talent, was a modest man. He did not suffer from star fever and did not like being called a star. He said that the stars in the sky. His relatives say that Aram Apetovich fell asleep and woke up with music, he always sang something. His sons believe that their father from the bottom rose to the very top of the musical Olympus. Unfortunately, really talented people die early.
Biography
Aram Apetovich was born on March 3, 1953 in the family of Armenian refugees Apet Asatryan (father) and Ashkhen Mamprenyan (mother). His parents worked in agriculture and had nothing to do with music and art. The Asatryan family lived in Etchmiadzin, the hometown of Aram Apetovich. Despite the fact that his parents are not musicians and not singers, talent and love for music were in his blood. By tradition, all representatives of the Asatryan clan were taught to play national musical instruments from early childhood. Aram Apetovich is no exception. In early childhood, he composed songs, poems and performed at various holidays.
In 1983, he and his friends organized a quintet. Their creative team was among the amateur and, according to the rules in force in the USSR, he did not have the right to record his songs at state recording studios. The creative team nevertheless recorded their first song at a state studio, bribing security and entering the studio after hours. Sound recording was done independently; later, the recording was distributed through friends and acquaintances. The song was called "Near a clean spring", it was she who brought fame to Aram Apoetovich. Over time, the name of Aram Apetovich became known not only throughout Armenia, but also in other republics of the USSR.
During the conflict in Nagorno-Karabakh, he spoke to volunteers, performed not only his songs, but also songs by other authors.
On November 7, 2006, Aram Apetovich’s life suddenly ended, he died at the age of 53 from a heart attack. That day did not portend trouble, he was preparing for the presentation of the new album and concerts in Russia.
Music career
Aram Apetovich recorded over 500 songs in his short life, 22 songs became the most famous. In the mid-90s, he became famous in the United States. The Armenian diaspora invited him to the States, Aram Apetovich went there with his family. The singer planned to live in the States for 5-6 years.
In the United States, he opened his Star Records recording studio and recorded several albums on it. Despite success overseas, Aram Apetovich missed his native Armenia and regularly visited her. In the late 90s, during his next visit to Armenia, he was offered to star in a film called "Our Yard". The artist accepted the offer and played one of the roles in the film "Our Yard" and in the film "Our Yard 2".
Aram Apetovich devoted most of his works to Armenia. In 2003, he was awarded the Gusan Prize. During his life, the author-performer received eight awards, six of which were presented to him in Armenia. One of the prizes is international. At 50, the singer performed on tours in Russian cities.
The author - performer recorded his last album "My sons" in 2006 with his sons Artashes and Tigran. It was for the presentation of this album that he was preparing before his sudden death.
