Biography
Alessandro Preziosi was born in 1973 in the town of Avellino. We can say that in his childhood he studied all of Italy, because his parents often moved. Both of them were lawyers, and after graduation, the son followed in their footsteps.
In Naples, he graduated from the law department of a local university and began his career at the University of Salerno as an assistant. The young man had a clear prospect of becoming a good lawyer, but the director Antonio Kalende thought differently. He saw the natural artistry, grace and aristocracy of a young man, and could not resist an offer to his play.
A slightly bewildered Alessandro took everything very seriously, and decided to get a profession at the Milan Academy of Amateur Drama. His debut in the role of Laertes was brilliant, and he finally became convinced that his future should be connected with the theater.
Career
Theater critics enthusiastically received the young actor, but the television directors also wanted to get him into their projects, and in 1999 Alessandro appeared in the series "Life in Italian". After closing the project, he returned to the theater.
The next experience in the series with Preziosi happened in 2002 - he played a noble count in the series "Eliza from Rivombroz". It was an unusually beautiful project in which the audience saw Italy of the eighteenth century and the love story of the count and the maid. This role brought the actor real fame and love of the audience.
Alessandro and his partner Vittoria Puccini, thanks to the project, became national stars and received the prestigious II Telegatto Prize. And the directors were not going to refuse to cooperate with a charming actor: the next role of Preciosa was the role in the film "Vanilla and Chocolate" (2004). He played a womanizer, who thought only of himself, leaving his wife and children to their fate. Then the spouse decided to teach him a lesson: she left the family, leaving the children to her dad. And her experiment was a success.
