Shera (Cher) Izrailevich Nuremberg became famous under the pseudonym Alexander Sharov. From his pen came bright and honest stories, showing both bad and good features of the characters. Talented works are addressed not only to children, but also to adults.
Search for the future
The biography of the future writer and journalist began in 1909. A child was born on April 25 (May 8) in Kiev. Until 1918, with his older brother Alexander, he was brought up by grandfather and grandmother. Then the children moved to Moscow.
Parents passed away early. In childhood, the future writer learned to accept and show everything in a true light. The boy was not embittered, retaining forever love for people and goodwill. Studied Sharov in the capital experimental school named after Lepeshinsky.
After graduation, the graduate continued his education at Moscow State University. He graduated from the Faculty of Biology in 1932, becoming a geneticist. By profession, the young man did not work long, realizing that he wanted to write. The first articles of a novice journalist appeared in print from 1928 while he was at university.
The writer began with popular science publications on the activities of scientists. He managed to please the Izvestia and Pravda newspapers with a special correspondent. As such, he took part in a transarctic flight in 1937. In 1937, the pseudonym Shera Izrailevich appeared. He signed all his books as Alexander Sharov. In the Great Patriotic War, the writer fought, received several medals and orders.
Vocation
In 1947 until 1949, the writer worked at The Twinkle. He began to compose for children in the fifties. In the sixties, he created the fantastic works "Island of Pierre", "After rewriting." Sharov introduced readers to the story of the literary tale "Wizards come to people."
Works appeared for the first time in 1954 in the journal New World. In the wise work "The Pea-Man and the Simpleton" it was told about the boy who had lost his mother. She left several things to her son, instructing not to give them to anyone. The kid who went to travel met Man-Pea, saved the Princess and the fairy-tale city. The boy with honor came out of difficult trials.
It is difficult, almost impossible to attribute to the fairy-tale genre the composition “Wizards come to people”. However, the book is interesting to children. It is composed of stories about famous storytellers from life and their creation of works. In 1970, the story "The Little Cuckoo - a Prince from Our Yard" appeared. It tells about the extraordinary adventures of an ordinary city boy. They began with Sashka meeting with an old man, on whose head flowers grew.
The author called the story of artist brothers "The Adventures of Ezhenka and Other Painted Men". It tells of a red-haired blue eye and magic pencils.
Works for children and adults
The story of the friendship of a boy and an adult, Volodya and Uncle Alyosha, gained popularity. A man knows how to tell interesting stories, he likes Volodya’s neighbor, but he doesn’t manage to establish a relationship with her.
The writer was sure that not only preparation would help win, but also faith in success. This he claims in his book "Little Arrow - the winner of the Oceans." The author addressed works of science fiction to adults. Their main difference was the presence of satire and the irony of the syllable. The most famous were "Illusion or the Kingdom of the bumps", "The riddle of the manuscript 700", "Pirrow Island".
In the writer's works, difficult questions were understood. All books are distinguished by honesty and humanity. Sometimes the content is quite heavy, but there has never been “vanilla” in Sharov’s works. They did not foresee the indispensable “happy end” and the complete absence of the terrible. Of course, the writer did not offer the classic "horror". His stories revealed to the readers the world of people's actions, their emotions. Many writings of other writers do not.
In 1975, the story Dandelion Boy and Three Keys was screened. Sharov acted as the author of the script for the animated film "Dandelion". The boy received three keys from the dwarves. It was necessary to properly dispose of them, find and open the desired lock.
