Biography
Alexander Panayotov was born in Ukrainian Zaporozhye in 1984, and his family was quite far from the sphere of creativity. And yet, Sasha discovered a talent for singing at the age of 9, starting to go on the school stage. At the age of 15, he signed up for vocals and met with professional mentor Vladimir Artemyev, with whose support he decided to participate in auditions for various music shows.
The young artist tried his hand at the Ukrainian television projects Slavic Bazaar and Black Sea Games, but the first success came after participating in the Become a Star show, where he reached the finals. This happened in 2003. Panayotov noticed the producers of the channel "Russia" and invited to the contest "People's Artist". Alexander again became a finalist, and also signed a seven-year contract with Eugene Friedland and Kim Breitburg. The hits “Moon Tune” (with Larisa Dolina) and “Extraordinary” (with Ruslan Alekhno and Alexei Chumakov) were born.
Alexander Panayotov followed the terms of the contract and until 2010, his life was full of tours, as well as recordings of two albums - “Lady of the Rain” and “Formula of Love”. Subsequently, the artist gained independence and in 2013 presented the audience with another album entitled “Alpha and Omega”.
In 2014, Panayotov turned 30. In honor of this, he gave a large-scale performance in the Mir concert hall. In addition, he performed in New York at a concert in honor of the 70th anniversary of the victory in World War II. By that time, Alexander Panayotov extremely rarely appeared on television, but in 2016 he surprised old and new fans by becoming a member of the TV show "Voice". By an inexplicable tradition, he again took second place.
