Early years, youth
Alexander Lvovich was born in Vyshny Volochyok April 16, 1969. The family was incomplete, only the mother raised children. She was a doctor.
In school years, the boy stood out with a sense of humor, knew how to show mimes. He studied in a puppet club, then began to participate in productions. In high school, Semchev was a DJ at discos.
Sasha wanted to become a doctor, driver, clergyman, but life turned out differently. After school, he served in the army.
Creative biography
After the army, Semchev got a job at the Vyshny Volochok drama theater. Despite the lack of education, he soon became a leading actor and symbol of the theater. In one of the plays Semchev noticed teachers of the school named after Shchukin and offered to study in the capital. Alexander began training on the course of Valentina Nikolaenko.
As a student, Semchev worked at Sovremennik. In 1997, he graduated from high school and began to work at the Satyricon, where Oleg Efremov noticed him. Thanks to him, Alexander got into the Chekhov Theater, where he soon became a leading artist. For his role in the play "The White Guard" Semchev received the prize "The Seagull".
At the beginning of the two thousandth Alexander began to act in films. He made his debut in the film Krzysztof Zanussi "The First Million" (Poland). Then there were other suggestions. Most often, the actor played minor characters, which turned out to be colorful and bright.
The actor was the hero of the movie about beer "Three Fat Men" and became the advertising person of the year. After that, Semchev began to get negative characters. However, the actor became a star. Several famous films with his participation: "Plot", "Collective Farm Entertainment", "12 Chairs", "Railway Romance".
In 2006, Alexander Lvovich decided to engage in directing, but his film "Girls" was not very successful. Semchev continued filming in films, became popular: "Election Day", "Limousine", "The Last Warrior", "Dragon Syndrome", "Liquidation".
