Alan was born in America in the spring of 1971. His ancestors on the father's side were of Polish descent, and on the mother's side - English, German, Scottish, French and Dutch.
All his childhood, Alan spent in the town of Plyno, Texas, where he went to school. Studied at Plano SR.High. Interestingly, the young man did not go to the prom. The reason was a breakup with a girl with whom he was in love in high school.
After completing his primary education, he entered Lon Morris Jr. College, where he studied drama and acting. As a student, he began performing on stage and received his first Academic Excellence Award. He was called one of the most successful students and was told that he would have a wonderful acting career. During his studies, he was an active member of the Delta Psi Omega fraternity.
After graduating from college, Tudyk continued his education at the Juilliard conservator. But in 1996 he left his studies to pursue an acting career.
Creative career
After leaving the conservatory, Alan performed on the stage of several American theaters and played on Broadway in the production of "Epic Proportions".
At the same time, he began to look for work on television and in films, attending various auditions. He received his first roles in television series and the independent drama "35 Miles from Normal".
In 1998, he joined the cast of "The Healer Adams" with Robin Williams in the title role. Although Tudyk played only a small minor role, he was noticed. The career of the young actor began to gain momentum.
