Childhood, youth
Ida was born on June 10, 1941. The family lived in Kazan, father Solomon Iosifovich was a professor of medicine. He taught dentistry at the university. His works became the basis of dental manuals. Aida's mother was a surgeon. The girl was fond of dancing early, she studied English from 4 years old. Later, the family lived in Irkutsk.
After school, Ida began to study at a music school, then worked at the Youth Theater, a musical theater. At the insistence of her parents, the girl was educated at the institute, having mastered English, German. Then Ida decided to study at the Shchepkin school. She passed the exams, but was refused due to her existing education.
Career
Not getting into the school of Schepkin, Aida decided to be a singer. She worked in the philharmonic societies of Orel, Kharkov, in the bands of Utesov, Lundstrem, and performed with other groups. Gradually, she became popular.
The work on dubbing the film "Caucasian Captive" brought fame: the heroine of Natalia Varley sings in the voice of Aida. The record with "A Song of the Bears" was sold in million copies. A year later, she sang the song "Geese, Geese" and became a graduate of the festival in Sopot. The composition "Help me" from the movie "Diamond Arm" became popular. However, the singer received a reprimand from the Minister of Culture Furtseva.

Despite the talent and popularity, the authorities didnāt like Vedishchev, they limited concerts, they didnāt miss them on TV. In the mid-70s, her name disappeared from the posters, recordings, video tapes were destroyed. The main reason for this attitude was that Aida did not support the withdrawal of Soviet troops in Prague. At a concert in Sopot, she sang a song of Shainsky, and he was also in disgrace.
In the end, Vedischeva decided to emigrate. In 1980, she left for the USA. In America, Aida graduated from theater college, and after 2 years began to speak at Carnegie Hall. Its producer was Joe Franklin, who worked with Brabra Streisand, Lisa Minelli.
