Biography
Early period
Aaron Russo was born on February 14, 1943 in New York. When he was little, his parents decided to move to Long Island. There, the boy went to kindergarten, attended various sections, graduated from school. Teachers noted that Russo will go far. In an educational institution, he easily mastered even the most complex disciplines, demonstrated a phenomenal memory.
Career
Aaron's father was engaged in business and tried to involve an heir in him. It was possible to do this, but a few years later Russo Jr. became interested in the entertainment industry.
In the spring of 1968, Aaron opened a nightclub. "Kinetic Playground" quickly gained popularity and became one of the most sought after establishments in Chicago. Famous rock musicians performed there. In addition to working in the club, Russo was engaged in public relations of vocal projects. Among them were Bett Midler, "The Manhattan Transfer." Immersed in creativity, in 1970 Aaron created several musical productions.
The next stage of career development was the production of films, including "Swap", "Rose". Six Rousseau films were awarded the Oscars, two more - Golden Globe. During his career in cinema, Aaron Russo made more than 20 films.

Russo in politics
The beginning of the 1990s for Aaron was associated with the start of political activity. Then he made a film where he called into question the work of the North American free trade zone, the government’s war on drugs.
In 1998, Aaron took part in the election of the Governor of Nevada. He represented the interests of the Republicans. With 26% of the vote, he became second after Kenny Guinn.
In 2004, the politician ran for president of the United States. Initially, he was self-nominated, later represented the Libertans.
In 2007, during the presidential election, he actively supported Ron Paul. A little later he created the political organization Revival of the Republic, through which he planned to realize the ideas presented in the film America: From Freedom to Fascism. Rousseau was important to convey to the public, in his opinion, the true picture of events taking place in the United States.
